My first work for the US without the trivago guy spokesperson, this spot used Symmetry to explore the world of hotel price comparison.
In September 2021 - over 2 years after the spot first aired - the spot contributed to trivago being named “Advertiser of the month’ by YouGov, “In the last month, trivago generated the highest increase in Ad Awareness for a travel company in both the US and UK…the brand’s score rose by almost 3 percentage points in the US – from a score of 15.4 in July to a score of 18 in August”.
*The longevity of the spot is largely down to the coronavirus pandemic, which saw travel companies reduce their marketing spend significantly.
